SACS (Send a Child to School) is ready to fill backpacks for the 2012 school year. We will be providing over 1000 Argentine children with backpacks and other school supplies. We will deliver these to the children at the end of February so they will be ready for the first day of school.Many of you have helped us in the past – thank you! On Wednesday, January 18th we will be hard at work again. Please consider giving us some of your time & energy.

During both of these work sessions we will be filling the backpacks with school supplies, grouping them by organization, & bagging them for delivery. Wear cool clothing and comfortable shoes! You may volunteer for either ( 10-12:30 or 1-4) or both of the work sessions. For those of all who are able to stay for both sessions, we will provide a light lunch of yummy empanadas!

**If you are interested in helping and coming from Downtown, please let us know as we will arrange for transportation for our DT workers! Confirm by January 13th if you need a lift to Martinez. There will be one designated stop in Recolta that will be a pick up in the morning and a drop off in the late afternoon.
